1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
We just recently did a research project on labyrinth in Mrs. Daquannos' class. Also in religion, I recently did a research project on the legalization of marijuana. Early in the year, we did a group research project on empires.

2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
Research to me means to gather and to learn about information that is new to you.

3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
My recent project on the legalization of marijuana was a sucess because I worked really hard and learned a lot of interesting things in the process. And I also made a great presentation.

I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because:
I think that the webbing process helped me find a topic because it created a more visual picture of the different topics i was looking at. So yes I agree with the webbing process.

2. Why you chose it: I chose ancient Eygpt because I think there cultural ways and cultural architexture is very intersting
3. What you already know about your topic: The worshiped cats, I know some of the ancient pharoes shuch as Remses and Hepshetsu. I also know that part of there architexture involved pyramids.

The pre-notetaking activity helped because it gave me an over view of ancient egypt which is mt topic

1. What have I learned today?
Today, I mostly found articles on my topic and saved but I have not yet read all the way through to learn any great detail
2. What problems have I had?
At first, the database I was using wasn't cooperating. It kept bringing up articles that had nothing to do with my topic. And it took me a while to find anything on my topic.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?
I will do a more thourough search tomorrow and an advanced search.
4. What will I do next?
I will gather the information I have found and paraphrase it into my own words

Finding enoug information is not a problem anymore so I guess everything is going pretty smoothly

1. What have I learned today?
I learned the person who built the first pyramid. And I learned that columns were first constructed in ancient Egypt. Egyptians also used very durable materials.
